Originally from New York City and an alumnus of The Stella Adler Acting Studio and Brooklyn College, Edoardo Miranda is an American actor and writer who developed an unwavering passion for acting and writing from an early age.
He was raised in Milan, where, after a screenwriting workshop held by screenwriter Umberto Contarello and an acting workshop held by film director Andrea Costantini, he was advised to pursue acting professionally in the United States.
Born Edoardo Nicholas Bianchi, Edoardo changed his stage name to Edoardo Miranda to honor his grandmother Miranda Bramani, an avid movie lover.
He has honed his craft with help from Ron Burrus (Adler Technique), Todd Thaler (On Camera Technique), Elizabeth Shepherd (Shakespeare), and J. Steven White (Stage Combat), to name a few, graduating from Stella Adler in 2018.
His main film credits include Peter The Disciple in the docudrama Eating With The Enemy narrated by Kevin Sorbo, The Fox in the short film The Fox along actor Kazy Tauginas, and Gennaro in the feature film Reign Supreme.
Main theater credits include Maestro in Steven Fisher's Broadway show The Last Boy at The Town Hall, Marco in the Off-Broadway show Arrivals, directed by Art Feinglass, and the principal role in Aladdin at Galli Theater New York, directed by Barbara Remus.
He is one of the Cofounders of Fracture Films and his short dramas Recalling and Your Poet won the Audience Choice award at the New York Lift-Off Film Festival in 2021, and Best Mobile Short at the Transparent Film Festival in 2023, respectively.
Edoardo has written, produced and directed the play Goodville, accepted at the New York Theater Festival, Winterfest 2020.
His commercial, print and modeling bookings include clients being Adidas, Steinway & Sons, Johnson & Johnson, Brooklyn Nets, painter Kehinde Wiley, photographer David Yarrow, and band Latin Mafia among the many.
Beyond acting and writing, Edoardo is a clinical research assistant and research coordinator who worked at several Brooklyn College labs and at the McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School under the name of Edoardo Nicholas Bianchi.
He is particularly interested in addiction, psychosis and psychopathy to better understand and address barriers to treatment.
Edoardo’s distinctive and multicultural background also includes polyglotism, suicide prevention hotline volunteering, poetry, and martial arts.
