About

Edoardo Miranda is an American actor and writer, originally from New York City. Raised in Milan, Italy, he was mentored by screenwriter Umberto Contarello and director Andrea Costantini, who encouraged him to pursue acting professionally in the United States. He later trained at The Stella Adler Acting Studio, graduating in 2018, and holds a degree in psychology from Brooklyn College. Born Edoardo Nicholas Bianchi, he adopted the stage name Edoardo Miranda in honor of his grandmother, Miranda Bramani, an avid cinephile.

Edoardo’s breakout role came in For: LiLa, where his portrayal of Sal De Leon earned him multiple acting awards and, in 2025, a nomination for Best Actor of the Season at the Independent Shorts Awards alongside Tate Donovan and Andrew Howard. His additional film credits include Eating with the Enemy, narrated by Kevin Sorbo, where he played Peter the Disciple, and The Fox, in which he starred opposite Kazy Tauginas. On stage, he has appeared as Maestro in The Last Boy at The Town Hall and as Marco in the Off-Broadway production Arrivals, directed by Art Feinglass. He also wrote, produced, and directed the play Goodville, which was accepted into the New York Theater Festival’s Winterfest 2020. He is the author of the semi-autobiographical novel The Boy Who Laughs.

Beyond film and theater, Edoardo has been featured in international campaigns for SONY and Steinway & Sons, with modeling and print work for Adidas, Johnson & Johnson, the Brooklyn Nets, artist Kehinde Wiley, photographer David Yarrow, and the band Latin Mafia.

In addition to his artistic career, Edoardo has worked as a clinical research assistant and research coordinator at Brooklyn College and McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He is fluent in multiple languages and is actively engaged in volunteer work in suicide prevention, as well as poetry and martial arts.
