About
Edoardo Miranda is an American actor and writer born in New York City and raised between the United States and Milan, Italy. Mentored by Italian screenwriter Umberto Contarello and director Andrea Costantini, he later returned to New York to train at The Stella Adler Acting Studio of Acting.
His breakout role as Sal De Leon came in For: LiLa, earned multiple festivals awards, and a 2025 nomination for Best Actor of the Season at the Independent Shorts Awards alongside Tate Donovan and Andrew Howard. His screen work also includes Eating with the Enemy, while his theater credits include Arrivals and the Broadway show The Last Boy at The Town Hall.
Born Edoardo Nicholas Bianchi, he adopted the name Miranda in honor of his grandmother, an avid cinephile. He studied psychology at Brooklyn College and has worked in psychological research.
Fluent in English, Italian and Spanish, and conversational in French, Portuguese and Haitian Creole, Miranda is actively engaged in volunteer work in suicide prevention, as well as poetry and martial arts.
